about

Kromanauts are back with an original single and a fresh sound to boot. The band’s most recent release, Legwork, features go-go legend Winko on percussion and is accompanied by a music video shot in Rock Creek Park. Kromanauts are exploring all new territory and you are invited along for the ride.

On Legwork the group has harnessed the creative energy and pulse of the DMV area. Embracing both the rock ethos of Bad Brains and melding it with the percussive heavy rhythms of Go-Go, and the result is a rugged and raw creative flow.

As the first single from their forthcoming album “K2 – The Holy Dose”, Kromanauts are once again showcasing a unique fusion sound born out of a myriad of musical influences and creative experiences.

lyrics

LYRICS:

Hello
Tell me can you hear me
I’ve been calling
I’ve been knocking

Oh no
Do you hear me screaming
See me drowning
In the tears I’m crying

Can’t nobody do it like me
Can’t nobody do it like we
I keep my head up high
Lift my weight up just a little bit
Be blessed in the pursuit of righteousness

Hit the woodshed
Put in that legwork

Oh no
It’s happening again
Truth came calling
And my soul was listening

Now I know
Exactly what it is
No more wishing
Time for living

Can’t nobody do it like me
Can’t nobody do it like we
So keep your head up high
And lift your weight up just a little bit
Be blessed in the pursuit of righteousness

Kromanauts going up against Goliath
With nothing but a lyrical slingshot sureshot

All we got is us
All we got is us
All we got is us
All we got is us

Can’t nobody do it like me
Can’t nobody do it like we
I keep my head up high
Lift my weight up just a little bit
I’m blessed in the pursuit of righteousness
